**Who is the ideal candidate?**

At Composite Resources, we are in search of a dedicated Paint Prep Technician eager to contribute to our team. This role focuses on prepping parts for painting—cleaning, masking, and additional responsibilities as required.

**Your Journey with Us**

• Comply with established procedures to prevent rework or waste.
• Thoroughly prepare parts for cleaning and remove contaminants.
• Accurately mask parts according to specifications before painting.
• Remove masking post-paint with precision.
• Transport parts safely through workspaces and paint booths using hands and equipment.
• Log entries in forms and work orders per department requisites.
• Report equipment or machine issues to the senior painter or supervisor.
• Maintain accountability using provided hand tools.
• Assist in part production by temporarily working in other departments when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and paint booths.
• Operate support equipment specific to department as necessary.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn paint application techniques post-preparation mastery.
• Adapt work processes and hours based on production schedules as instructed.
• Engage with senior colleagues to gain and share knowledge for effective job performance.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and procedural compliance in all assigned programs.

**Qualifications**

• Preferred experience in autobody or industrial painting, including masking, paint mixing, bondo, and priming.
• Familiarity with paint sprayers, pneumatic sanders, and related preparation tools.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• A collaborative spirit capable of working effectively with various departments.
