Human Resources Coordinator
Full-Time Position – Exempt
Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Additional hours or work schedule adjustments will be needed during certain events throughout the year.

Reaching Souls International is seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Human Resources Coordinator who will play a vital role in ensuring the effective functioning of our human resources department. This position is instrumental in carrying out RSI’s core values in all aspects of human resources for the ministry.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Coordinator
Employee Lifecycle Management: Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management (FMLA), and offboarding.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and data privacy requirements, while maintaining accurate records.
Benefits Administration: This position serves as the primary liaison with insurance carriers, managing enrollment and eligibility and resolving benefit-related issues.
HR Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of payroll practices, worker’s compensation, benefits management, government reporting, and general HR processes.
Employee Relations: Provide daily support to employees, field HR-related inquiries, and assist with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee job postings, candidate coordination, and new hire orientation to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
Data and Reporting Management: Maintain accurate personnel records, update HR systems, and generate key reports for decision-making.
Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through engagement initiatives, surveys, and assisting with event coordination.
Collaboration and Strategic Support: Partner with the Chief of Staff on strategic HR initiatives to enhance the employee experience and advance organizational goals.
General Administration and Projects: Assist with coordinating HR-related activities, including new hire orientations, training sessions, and performance reviews, while maintaining the internal HR calendar.
Accessible HR Support: Be the go-to resource for policy and HR-related questions, guiding with professionalism and care.
Teamwork and Flexibility: Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture by supporting cross-functional projects and helping employees adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications for the Human Resources Coordinator
Faith Commitment: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep commitment to the mission, strategy, and values of Reaching Souls International.
Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience required. A PHR certification is a plus.
HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of human resources principles, practices, and state and federal compliance requirements (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and provide excellent employee service. A customer-focused mindset and a positive attitude toward enhancing the employee experience.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In accordance with applicable state requirements, the annual salary range for this position is $52,000 to $60,000.
