What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Assistant position at ReadyWork Inc?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Managing all residential invoices for customers in a timely manner and posting invoices in Acumatica in the correct company and month as it aligns with the expenses for the project and ensuring the emails are being sent to the appropriate recipients.
· Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager as needed with daily invoicing, collections, and data entry. Review contracts and proposals with the Accounts Receivable manager, specifically for billing and invoicing.
· Answer all incoming phone calls and emails from customers as they relate to the invoices they have received, including following up with the creation of supplemental documentation IE: receipt of payments; creation of summaries of invoices/payments for homeowners for the ease of their record keeping and to process credit card transactions.
· Create all Prelien documents and track.
· Create and email accurate Conditional and Unconditional Waiver and Release on Progress/Upon Final forms when required by customers.
· Provide additional support with incoming calls and emails from customers related to invoicing, payment breakdown and resubmission of invoices.
· Maintain customer accounts and updating customer information as needed in Acumatica and Construction Partner.
· Verify customer payments and close out customer accounts.
· Coverage in absence of Accounts Receivable Manager.
Qualifications:
· Experience in accounting/bookkeeping
· Computer skills: Acumatica, Construction Partner, ProEst, EXAKTIME, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and Gmail
· Strong communications skills with coworkers and management
