Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal R&D Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will primarily work on RF generator projects, focusing on design transfer and sustaining engineering initially with more NPD in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and refinement of RF generators.
- Oversee design transfer and sustaining engineering processes.
- Collaborate with vendors to acquire and integrate drawings and designs.
- Manage and execute engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Handle component reworks and replacements to ensure product quality.
- Address field failures, customer complaints, and conduct investigations to improve product performance.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in capital equipment, preferably with RF generators, ablation devices, or vacuums.
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering (ME) with exposure to Electrical Engineering (EE); candidates with an EE background will also be considered.
- Proven experience in successfully launching products, including managing field failures, addressing customer complaints, and conducting thorough investigations.
