Position Available: Director of Building Operations
Location: Boston, MA
The Director of Building Operations will be responsible for facilities operations for the Company by providing maintenance supervision over an affordable housing portfolio in the New England area totaling over 8,500 units. The Director of Building Operations works with the Regional Directors to establish efficient operations of the maintenance department and property, as well as the coordination and control of capital projects and utility management. Act as the figurative head of the organization when communicating with members of the organization, government entities and the public.

Key Requirements:
- 10 years of progressive experience in facilities/maintenance operations within the affordable housing industry with 3 years in a leadership role (Director/VP) leading a team of regional maintenance/facilities professionals and a portfolio more than 5,000 units.
- Must have experience creating and implementing SOP’s.
- Must have strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Must be well versed financially – budgets, capital needs assessments, negotiating contracts, etc.
- Must be well versed with federal, state, and local inspections and requirements.
