Employment Type: Part-time (Hybrid: half in-office, half remote). Part-time employment with the intent of becoming full-time
Location: Office in 78756 - Near Central Market North
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Research Assistant to join our team. This role is critical to our mission, requiring in-depth legal research, problem-solving, and collaboration to resolve intricate title and property ownership challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Title Review and Resolution: Review title commitments and resolve complex title issues with proactive problem-solving.
- Document Coordination: Manage all supporting and closing documents with clients, notaries, and third-party affiliates.
- Affidavit of Heirship Preparation: Understand, create, and finalize Affidavit of Heirship documents as needed.
- Deed Preparation: Use templates to draft deeds and coordinate signatures from sellers/owners.
- Closing Requirements Compliance: Ensure all necessary closing documents (e.g., POA, tax documents, indemnity agreements) are prepared and finalized.

Salary: $1500-2,500/Month Base performance bonus
Bonus on Transactions: $200 - $1000
Expected commitment would be 15-30 hours / week.
Location: In person during training than can transition to Remote with limited office visits
