Job Description
- Handle ROI (Release of Information) Requests: You’ll be the go-to person for processing medical records requests, ensuring everything is properly validated and authorized.
- Plan of Care Requests: Be a crucial part of ensuring that Plan of Care requests are processed and followed up on to keep our patients’ needs at the forefront.
- Document Routing Pro: You’ll help route the right documents to the right people, ensuring smooth communication and workflow across our clinics.
- Confirm Appointments: Help confirm VA appointments and keep our patients informed and on track with their healthcare needs.
- Compliance Champ: Ensure all actions comply with HIPAA regulations and other state and federal guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality every step of the way.
- Other Fun Tasks: Jump in on other duties as needed to help our team run efficiently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: While previous medical records experience is a bonus, we’ll train you if you have a passion for healthcare!
- Skills: A basic understanding of medical terminology and familiarity with computers will help you hit the ground running.
