Step Up as a Leader in Safety with the Residential Services Coordinator Lead Role!
As a Residential Services Coordinator Lead, you'll play a key role in maintaining a secure and supportive environment throughout the facility, ensuring the safety and supervision of all individuals served. In addition to performing essential safety functions, you’ll take on the role of an RSC Lead, offering mentorship and training to fellow team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Safety Oversight
Provides non-supervisory leadership and guidance to RSCs performing safety assignments throughout the facility. - De-escalation and Safety Strategies
Works with the treatment team to implement individual de-escalation strategies and safety plans; observes individuals served and provides redirection as needed. - Environmental Monitoring
Monitors and tracks environmental concerns by inspecting equipment, systems, and physical structures to ensure a safe environment. - Emergency Response
Responds to emergencies with clinical and medical teams to address safety concerns, including calming disruptive behaviors or threats of self-harm. - Supportive Oversight During Off-Site Activities
Provides oversight during off-site activities such as medical visits, court trips, and consults while interacting with the public as necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or secure mental health treatment facility setting.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: Must meet minimum age requirements as defined by the State certification/licensing authority or contract.
- Required: A valid state driver’s license with a verifiable favorable driving record.
