Recruit Secure, LLC is assisting our client in seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Payable Manager, preferably with experience in the healthcare industry. Our client currently owns and operates a few long-term care Skilled Nursing Homes (SNF), and the company is growing. The successful candidate will have experience managing payroll departments and experience in Accounts Payable functions as well as possessing strong subject matter expertise in payroll, taxes and time and attendance programs. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is located in Brooklyn NY. Work hours are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Monday thru Friday). REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2-3 years of Payroll experience and at least 1-2 years in a senior role
- Expertise with Payroll and Time and Attendance software as well as good computer skills
- Must have strong technical and financial analytical skills along with good problem-solving skills.
- Healthcare Industry experience -preferred, Nursing Home experience a big plus
- Experience processing Accounts Payable invoices for vendor payment, resolving discrepancies, and entering data into the financial system.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Must have strong PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must have excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
