Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technical Support individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for solving problems and assisting customers in selecting the most suitable products and components. This role demands a strong foundation in application knowledge to provide expert advice and product recommendations. You will play a crucial role in managing opportunities from inception to completion, fostering supplier partnerships, and acting as the primary support contact for our sales team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Solve problems and assist the customer in choosing the right products and components.
- Utilize application knowledge to provide advice and product recommendations.
- Manage opportunities from start to finish working with customers, suppliers and product team.
- Cultivate supplier partnerships (in collaboration with Product Management).
- Offer feedback to Product Managers regarding pricing and product offerings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for support to both Inside and Outside Technical Sales Managers.
- Provide product and quoting support to the Service & Repair team.
- Monitor and expedite the progress of critical orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- A high school degree or equivalent is
- At least one year of Maintenance experience, preferably in the food, or dairy industry
- Proficient in communication and computer-related tasks.
- Confidence in engaging with customers effectively.
- Quick learning capabilities and excellent information retention skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in a food and beverage facility or similar setting.
- Knowledge of fundamental food processing operations and adept at troubleshooting.
