What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Distribution position at Red Bull North America?
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Distribution's main priority is to develop their team of Distributor Managers and to influence relationships with General Managers and owners of Distributor Partners (DPs). Your responsibilities will include: communicating strategic priorities; manage important Red Bull projects; develop systems to increase KPIs; and to monitor sales/POS progress against business plans. You will take ownership for distributor performance while making sure there is understanding between the GM and the Sr. Director of Distribution.

Expand allCREATE UNDERSTANDING OF DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER NETWORK & RED BULL
Develop communication schedule with Distributer Partners to implement Red Bull business strategies and projects through Earn Your Wings process
Develop communication process to ensure understanding of strategies and goals
Implement systems to track and benchmark DPs against goals
BUSINESS PLANNING
Work with the Distributor Partner Managers to create annual plans with regards to organization requirements, distribution, volume, investments, and indicators with Distributer Partners
Secure agreement on necessary subjects and implement monthly scorecard to review progress
Communicate with ownership and top management to guarantee agreement
Establish POS allocation for Region
Establish equipment allocation and execution standards for Region
DISTRIBUTOR STRUCTURE & NETWORK
Develop plans to improve Distributor Partner Network within Region
Develop best practices to share and implement within the network
Work across other departments to benchmark performance and best practices
LEAD INTEGRATION WITHIN RED BULL
You will be a leader within the Region teams and will insure development of goals
Create partnership between several functional plans and market impact through Distributer Partners
Coordinate execution of account programs through wired relationship with Key Account Managers and teams
- 10 years Sales experience in Consumer Goods industry (Beverage or similar)
- Experience working with Distributor partners and Suppliers
- 6 years of experience leading teams
- Experience working with or managing a Direct Store Delivery network
- Experience implementing successful sales and trade marketing strategies
- Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
- English, additional languages an advantage
- Travel 20-30%

Compensation: $126,808 - $190,212 (Actual compensation offer may vary based on certain factors, including but not limited to experience).
