Red Eye Louie’s Inc. is a dynamic and innovative spirits company based out of Birmingham, AL. and is known for our unique and high-quality alcoholic beverages. We are looking for a local detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records and transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll in a timely manner.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with external accountants and auditors as needed.
- Provide administrative support related to financial operations.
Qualifications:
- 2 years proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in the beverage or consumer goods industry is a plus.
