The Front Office Assistant Role

The Front Office Assistant acts as the face of Red Mountain Weight Loss, maintaining the reception area in a luxurious setting. While being the tone setter and ensuring a great first impression on all patients, the Front Office Assistant will perform administrative duties related to patient relations, scheduling, check-in, check-out, and charging for services performed. Doing what’s in the best interest of the patient is what we do.

  • Welcome and acknowledge every patient with a verbal greeting, using the patient’s name when possible
  • Accurately schedule, change, confirm, and cancel appointments
  • Provide detailed descriptions of Red Mountain weight loss programs, med spa services, products, facility features, and hours of operation
  • Become a supportive partner on each patient’s journey, and ensure they stay empowered and motivated
  • Actively promote specials, promotions, and discounts available
  • Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone
  • Contact patients to follow up on their weight loss journey while they are in their weight loss window
  • Promptly answer the phone, return patient phone messages and emails, and make confirmation calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Count and balance cash drawer including a mid-day drawer count to check for discrepancies and maintain petty cash

Just the Facts

  • This is a full-time position.
  • We’re looking for someone who can work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We do schedule 5 days per week.
  • For this role, our pay ranges from $17 to $23 per hour depending on front desk/reception experience.

About You

  • You are friendly, positive, and non-judgmental with a strong desire to help others - a people person.
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have previous front office experience in a health and wellness environment preferred
  • You can utilize computer systems and programs with skill and proficiency
  • You have effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and team
