We are looking for an Admissions Specialist to monitor and assist in the intake process at Red Oak Recovery, working closely with family members, stakeholders, and potential clients throughout the entire admissions process.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with inquiries via telephone, email, or other compliant and secure means clearly, effectively, promptly, and accurately
- Following closely and understanding HIPAA compliancy in all transactions
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all inquiries
- Reporting true and accurate information regarding Red Oak policies and programming to all inquiring parties through extensive knowledge of programming logistics
- Executing all admissions paperwork and agreements, assisting, and coaching all parties involved to ensure all legal documentation and pertinent contact information is complete
- Taking initiative to engage in follow-up conversation to ensure that needs of all inquiring and involved parties have been met
- Screening all applications received for completeness
- Assisting in marketing and building relationships with referral sources
- Assisting in creating marketing materials, developing new markets, and methods
- Attending regional conferences and local events as needed
- Developing and present marketing and sales reports as needed
- Participating in an on-call rotation
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
- Extensive knowledge of recovery industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to communicate 12-Step knowledge and other recovery language
- CADC-I, CADC, PSP
- Knowledge of varying therapeutic modalities and approaches
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft & Adobe platforms
- Basic working knowledge of commercial health insurance
