We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter invoices into the accounting system (Microsoft Business Central) accurately and in a timely manner
- Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts
- Scan and organize invoices for record-keeping
- Prepare checks and ACH payments to vendors
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Collect and maintain W-9 forms for vendor files
- Basic computer skills required (Email, Word, Excel)
- Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Computer Work: The primary responsibilities of this role involve working on a computer and performing tasks that require prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and using a computer monitor.
- Mobility: This may include standing, walking, and occasional lifting or carrying of equipment or materials.
