What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at Redmond Law PLLC?
Redmond Law PLLC is a full-service commercial law firm focused on serving our clients, providing an excellent work product and maintaining a collegial working environment for our staff. The Manhattan and White Plains, NY offices are seeking to add an Attorney (3 years experience) to the Commercial Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, have strong professional judgment, be a problem solver and have a strong work ethic.
Educational / Experience Requirements :
- JD degree required with New York Bar Admission
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience
- Research and drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, document review
- Construction Contract review and drafting
- Conducting commercial depositions, court appearances for motions and conferences
- Trial experience a plus
- Interact with clients and opposing counsel
- Excellent legal research, sophisticated writing ability and strong verbal communication are essential
- Proactive, resourceful and ability to work supervised and independently
- License / Certification : NYS Bar
