Position Summary:
The Help Desk Level II Technician will be a key team member in the implementation of Maconomy, assisting with system integrations, end-user support, and ongoing technical troubleshooting. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide advanced technical support, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to the successful deployment of this ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation Support: Serve as a technical resource during the implementation of Maconomy, addressing system configuration, user setup, and troubleshooting integration challenges.
- End-User Support: Provide Level II support to employees for Maconomy-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Database Assistance: Assist with database tasks related to Maconomy, including querying, maintenance, and troubleshooting basic issues.
- Ticketing System Management: Manage and resolve support tickets using the company’s ticketing platform, escalating issues as needed and ensuring thorough documentation.
- Desktop and Network Support: Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users, including those related to Maconomy.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the IT team, end users, and business units to ensure seamless integration and adoption of Maconomy.
- Training and Documentation: Assist in creating technical guides and resources for end-users, and provide training sessions to enhance understanding of the new ERP system.
- Post-Implementation Support: Continue to support Maconomy users after go-live, resolving technical issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in IT support, with a focus on ERP systems and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Maconomy is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in database systems, including basic querying and troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in managing and resolving tickets using platforms like ConnectWise or Jira.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments, as well as basic networking principles.
- Proven ability to support complex technical projects and work collaboratively across teams.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
