Salary: $25.20-$29.30 per hour (DOE) / Additional Differentials Must Qualify

Pay Differentials Offered (must qualify through testing or verification):
- Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Multilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $2.00 per hour
Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for auditing account invoices and receipts for proper documentation, signatures, etc. and contacting vendors and internal management when more information is needed. Primary responsibilities include entering bills, reconciling statements, preparing payments for authorization and monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audits account invoices and receipts for proper documentation, signatures, etc.
- Enters bills, reconciles with statements, prepares payments for authorization.
- Contact the appropriate employee or supervisor if financial documents are not received in a timely manner.
- Educates and supports employees or vendors by answering questions related to accounts.
- Audits bills/statements for accuracy; contacts vendors to report errors.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required, monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or, technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
- Must pass a clear background check with DOJ, CACI, FBI, CCL.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.

- Comprehensive onboarding including CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
