About the Role
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is an integral part of our team, working closely with clients to create personalized support plans that cater to their unique needs. This role requires a strong understanding of developmental disabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, as well as redirecting behaviors through various activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, as outlined in their individual program plans.
- Assist clients with bathroom needs, change undergarments and/or clothing if necessary, and prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
