Job Summary:
The Vice President of Real Estate Sales will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, managing relationships with key investors, clients, and stakeholders, and driving revenue growth for the Reef's real estate and hospitality investment at Black Desert Resort. This role demands a strategic, results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of both real estate and hospitality markets, and the ability to execute complex sales strategies across diverse sectors. Overall, this position is to ensure the most professional, effective and impressive sales process to maximize sales and produce closed transactions with happy owners and repeat clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of sales strategies for the firm's hospitality and real estate assets, including both acquisition and disposition strategies.
- Market Analysis: Oversee market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential investment opportunities, and optimal pricing strategies for real estate and hospitality assets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, brokers, and other key partners. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and engagement to drive business growth.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals and support staff, providing guidance, performance reviews, and professional development, all in an effort to set and hit reasonable sales goals, and to work with the marketing team to maximize real estate lead generation.
- Deal Structuring: Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to structure and negotiate sales deals, acquisitions, and joint ventures in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets for the firm's real estate portfolio, ensuring that financial goals are met and optimized.
- Market Expansion: Identify and explore new markets for real estate sales and investment opportunities, including identifying potential acquisitions, partnerships, and market trends.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and market analysis to senior leadership, ensuring that strategies are aligned with business goals and market conditions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with real estate transactions and market shifts, working closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Utah real estate license
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within hospitality, commercial real estate, or investment management.
- Deep understanding of the real estate and hospitality markets, including trends, valuation methods, financial modeling, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a high-performing sales team, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior executives, clients, and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in market research, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
- Proven track record of successful deal negotiation and structuring, particularly in real estate and hospitality sectors.
- Established network within the real estate, hospitality, and investment communities.
