Reports to: Director, Digital Marketplace
Location: Carlsbad, CA (hybrid)

Role Overview:

The Content Specialist will be responsible for supporting the REEF brand with online marketplaces such as Amazon.com, Zappos, and other drop ship accounts. You will support asset creation, product detail page optimization, catalog maintenance, and advertising support. This is a great opportunity to work at the REEF brand within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. This is a full-time, exempt position. Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. (3) Days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and (2) Days Remote. 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Creative, Brand, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure optimal brand representation across e-tail accounts:

  • Manage brand and product digital marketing execution across digital marketplaces with an emphasis on Amazon.
  • Drive strategic planning and execution of Amazon Brand Store by collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Collaborate with digital creative team to create all Amazon content needs including product landing pages, product detail pages, A brand content, Amazon posts and advertising assets.
  • Ensure accuracy of product listings and assortment by collaborating with digital marketplace specialist.
  • Initiate, document, and execute changes through marketplace partners, such as Amazon.com and/or agency partners.

Create and manage seasonal content calendar:

  • Own entire content creation process from briefing in creative requests to gathering samples to ensuring assets are live on site.
  • Ensure timeliness of go to market assets are created and produced before seasonal product launches.
  • Brief in Amazon specific content using project management tools in collaboration with creative teams.

Assist in executing advertising strategies to continue acceleration of growth on marketplaces:

  • Support marketplace advertising initiatives to align with marketplace conversion strategies.
  • Work with internal team and/or external agencies to optimize spend across large product assortment.
  • Be up to date on the latest Amazon trends, tools, and marketing opportunities to drive sales and consumer engagement. (Amazon Influencer Program, Amazon Live, TikTok, etc. )

Job/Educational Requirements:

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3 years
  • Bachelor’s Degree - or 3 years related experience and/or training - or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in consumer goods, apparel / footwear.
  • Experience working with Amazon, either in seller central, vendor central, or other platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills or solutions-oriented capabilities to think outside of the box.
  • Highly detail oriented with great organizational skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, ability to work in fast pace environment.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, can manage large data sets with v-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and must be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Must be goal oriented and have a positive attitude.
  • Excellent understanding of e-commerce and with internet shopping.
  • Digital advertising experience.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Willing and able to work additional hours as needed.
  • Bend, lift, open and move weight varying from 30 - 60 lbs. depending on need (i.e. lifting and transportation of heavy samples bags)

Pay Transparency:
REEF Lifestyle LLC complies with all applicable state and local laws regarding pay transparency. For positions located in California, the hourly range or salary for this role is $69-$75k. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications and experience. Additional benefits and compensation details will be shared during the offer process.
