Refrigeration Control Specialist
Reports to: Refrigeration Production Supervisor

Summary:
Have the ability to assemble, test, and inspect refrigeration systems in multiple work cells on an assembly line
Examples of Duties:
- Assembles and charges any part or the complete refrigeration system and meets all quality and production standards as required by the Supervisor or Team Lead
- Assists the Team Lead and Supervisor with training new personnel.
- Reads and interprets wiring and refrigeration diagrams.
- Detects refrigeration and/or electrical problems and reports them to the Team Lead or Supervisor for corrective action
- Ensures all systems have correct condensing unit, coil, component parts and charge as per the order
- Must have a good knowledge of electrical/refrigeration systems and standard processes
- Uses small hand and power tools.
- Uses Oxygen-Acetylene torch to solder or braze refrigeration tubing
- May be required to work in other departments due to production demands
- Accurately able to read a tape measure and square
- Responsible for housekeeping around his/her general area
- Complies with all safety regulations and company policies

- General polyurethane injection with low pressure system
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic math including fractions.
- Skill in manipulating and interpreting a tape measure.
- Skill in reading and interpreting assembly instructions.
- Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, company policies, and safety policies
- Ability to evaluate and resolve problems
- Ability to communicate with others in a professional and productive manner
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to grasp and manipulate small parts, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to plan and anticipate production issues
Education & Essential Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to properly utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, half-face and/or Powered Air Purifying Respirators, protective clothing, and fall restraint harnesses.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and be available for overtime when necessary.
- Available for training in various duties.
- Consistently/Frequently - see (vision), hear, ability to read and write, ability to interpret information, basic math, reading, and writing in English.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable refrigeration experience is desirable
- Excellent attendance record and work history.
