Summary
This position entails teaching on-ground undergraduate Economics courses on the Weston campus. The candidate must be available for in-person instruction in Weston, MA.
Essential Functions:
- Provide instruction in various elements of Economics
- Evaluate student work in a timely fashion
- Hold weekly office hours and communicate directly with students to promote effective learning
- Identify students experiencing difficulty and bring these to the attention of the SBC administration
- Comply with all College policies and procedures
Other Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Department, School, and College curriculum development
- Support the Mission of Regis College and the Sisters of St. Joseph
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Ability to uphold the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
- Sufficient computer equipment and Internet access to effectively communicate with students and utilize the College’s Moodle Learning Management System.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
- Candidate will spend significant time on-line, both interacting with students and responding to and evaluating their work.
