What You’ll Do
Design & Deliver Engaging Learning Experiences
- Create results-driven training across formats—eLearning, instructor-led sessions, video, and self-paced modules.
- Use Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) and other authoring tools to develop interactive, learner-centered content.
- Apply adult learning principles and models like EDGE (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Empower) to ensure knowledge retention.
- Build structured learning paths and role-specific development programs with meaningful assessments.
- Develop storyboards, scripts, graphics, video, audio, simulations, and role-plays to meet learning objectives.
- Collaborate with HR Operations to evaluate third-party training solutions and inform “build or buy” decisions.
- Test and troubleshoot content to ensure compatibility across devices and platforms.
- Stay current on trends in learning tech, AI, and best practices.
- Manage multiple design projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Collaborate Across the Company
- Partner with stakeholders to assess learning needs and identify performance gaps.
- Review training effectiveness using feedback, data, and process updates.
- Design leadership development programs to grow talent from within.
- Ensure training materials align with The Reid Group’s values, standards, and customer experience.
Measure Success & Improve Continuously
- Define success metrics and build evaluation tools to measure training impact.
- Analyze LMS data to uncover development opportunities.
- Recommend cost-effective training solutions that meet quality standards.
- Keep accurate training records and ensure resources are easily accessible.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred (Education, HR, Org Development, Instructional Design).
- 3 years of corporate instructional design experience.
- Strong background in creating content outlines (COs) and high-level design documents (HLDDs).
- Multimedia expertise—video, audio, graphics—strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and tools like Articulate, Adobe, and Canva.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurants is a plus—especially in training or ops leadership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and collaborative.
- Comfortable engaging with team members at all organizational levels.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
