Accounting Specialist
Reports to: Controller
Classification: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Onsite
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in accounting to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for reconciling operating deposits and trust account deposits, meeting clients’ deadlines and specifications, have excellent communication, organizational, and people skills. The Accounting Specialist will be a self-motivator, someone who works well with little supervision.
The responsibilities for an Accounting Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing computerized accounting software programs
- Generating statements and reports using accounting software
- Developing automated spreadsheets using Excel
- Maintaining trust account deposits and refunds, posts to correct accounts using chart of account.
- Organizing and maintaining financial records
- Coordinating vendor transactions
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Six months experience working in an office environment.
- Experience in legal industry preferred but not required.
- Experience using accounting software a plus.
