Related Companies is seeking a dynamic and motivated (Temporary) Leasing Administrator to join our team for the exciting Lease-Up phase of our new development on Roosevelt Island!
Building Information: Riverwalk Heights Luxury Rental Apartments in Roosevelt Island, New York City
This is your chance to play a pivotal role in the grand unveiling of an unparalleled living experience, where luxury meets innovation on the picturesque shores of Roosevelt Island.
Core responsibilities for this position include:
- Leasing support
- Administrative functions
- Reception
- Special projects, as required
Here's what your role will entail:
- Lease-Up Expertise: Dive headfirst into the fast-paced world of lease-up operations! You'll work closely with our leasing team to execute a comprehensive leasing strategy, driving interest and excitement among prospective tenants during the initial lease-up phase of the development.
- Client Engagement: Channel your enthusiasm and charm as you welcome prospective tenants to our state-of-the-art leasing center, providing personalized tours of our model units and amenities. Your ability to connect with clients and showcase the unique features of our property will be instrumental in securing leases.
- Administrative Support: Behind the scenes, you'll provide crucial administrative support to ensure a smooth leasing process. From preparing lease agreements to maintaining accurate records and assisting with lease signings, your attention to detail will be key to ensuring a seamless experience for both tenants and the leasing team.
- Team Collaboration: As part of the Related family, you'll work alongside a diverse team of leasing professionals, property managers, and support staff to deliver unparalleled service and exceed leasing goals. Your positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond will be essential in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities include, however are not limited to:
- Communicating with all leasing staff at all sites to update inventory daily.
- Updating inventory on the Related Web Site, including deleting and inputting new data.
- Utilizing telephone inquiry guidelines to capture phone traffic.
- Knowledge of all buildings in our Roosevelt Island portfolio and their amenities.
- Obtaining pre-applicant information and schedules appointments.
- Entering all prospect details in Salesforce
- Keeping leasing staff updated as to the status of imminent appointments and comments about apartments.
- Notifiying the Leasing Manager if there are any problems with the web site.
- Responding to all e-mails and voicemail.
- Making leasing appointments for agents and updates salesforce accordingly
- Answering site phone calls for Riverwalk Crossing and Riverwalk Point. Answers questions and schedules appointments whenever possible.
- Communicating with the leasing staff at sites regarding any messages for leasing staff, using cell phones, etc.
- Giving pertinent information to customers, making appointments whenever possible.
- Sending out broker updates as directed by the leasing staff.
- Compiling information for lease renewals.
- Preparing renewal leases at the direction of Leasing Managers.
- Reviewing renewal leases for accuracy.
- Handling telephone and email inquiries
- Tour prospective renters as directed by the onsite Leasing manager
- Preparing lease amendments – name changes, occupant changes, lessee changes
- Special projects, as assigned
- Respond to and assign rental inquires
- Maintaining and updating tenant profiles within our property management database

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone presentation skills.
- Ability and commitment to learn new material quickly and upgrade skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- General leasing experience and knowledge a plus.
- Overtime may be required, you be available to work on the weekends
