Requirements Of The A&P Mechanic
- Valid A&P certificate is required.
- Must meet recent experience criteria specified in 14 CFR 65.83.
- Preferred: At least two years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Basic mechanical skills necessary.
- Must possess a personal set of aircraft maintenance tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidance effectively.
- Goal-oriented with exceptional attention to detail; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent needed.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 100% in-office role, no remote candidates.
