Requirements Of The Construction Scheduler
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 10 years of experience in vertical construction scheduling, particularly in hospitality or multi-family projects.
- Expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Possession of scheduling certifications (e.g., PSP, PMI-SP) is advantageous.
- OSHA 30 and First Aid certifications are also preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in both scheduling and documentation.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced construction setting.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and contracting procedures.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, cost estimation, and core construction principles.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when project schedules demand.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding up to 50 feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to navigate and walk job sites extensively (6-8 hours daily) and move through construction zones.
- Strong communication abilities to effectively convey and manage project objectives.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for your role within the project.
- Show resilience and adaptability in overcoming challenges, always seeking the best solutions for project needs, client goals, and company expectations.
