Position Summary:
The H-2B Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and compliance of the H-2B visa program for seasonal or temporary non-agricultural workers. This role ensures adherence to U.S. Department of Labor and Department of Homeland Security regulations, facilitates communication between internal teams and US clients and international partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the full cycle of the H-2B application process, including recruitment, petition filing, and worker arrival logistics.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records to ensure compliance with all H-2B program requirements.
- Collaborate with US clients and government agencies to meet strict deadlines.
- Preparing and submitting job orders, recruitment reports, and supporting documents for H-2B filings.
- Track visa expiration dates and coordinate extensions or departures as needed.
- Provide internal reports on program status, staffing levels, and compliance metrics.
- Stay current on H-2B regulations, rule changes, and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in immigration compliance, HR, or seasonal workforce management preferred.
- Familiarity with H-2B visa regulations and procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours during peak seasons.
- Some travel may be required to head office in Vemont
