School Van Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle special needs children and adults. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Duties

• Safely operate a van or similar vehicle to transport passengers.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times when needed.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, and managing staff.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability when instructed by management.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from passengers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Clean back-round checks and clearances.
• Familiarity with bus driving or paratransit services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• A commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance the passenger experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
