We are seeking a well-rounded individual that can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment to fill a full-time Purchasing Administrative Support role out of our Mechanicsburg, PA office. The position will work closely with the field technicians, field supervisors and the dispatchers to provide our customer base with the best price and quality on parts and materials. REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to maintain strong & frequent communication with all levels of the company both written and orally via phone and/or email.
- Must have high level of organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with a high volume of work with tight deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to operational changes.
- Coordinate delivery and scheduling of purchases
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Customer service and negotiating skills.
- Sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent data entry skills required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years office administrative experience required.
- Purchasing experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the mechanical contracting field preferred but not required
