POSITION SUMMARY :
Remington & Vernick Engineers is looking for a dynamic and organized individual to provide intermediate support for all computer related devises both remotely and onsite. Work individually and as a team to support all initiatives and technological growth as directed by the IT Manager providing documentation and follow-up. This challenging position is structured to offer the successful candidate ongoing learning and career advancement.
PRIMARY DUTIES :
- Provide intermediate support for desktops, laptops, printers and other computer related devices both remotely and onsite across a 20 plus site LAN / WAN environment
- Ability to handle small and large projects, providing status reports to management
- Participate in on call rotation if required
- Provide proper documentation, notification, escalation and follow-up of all incidents via Service Desk application
- Perform other duties and responsibilities and respond to IT Manager as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate corporate and departmental with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner; Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

This job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, copiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally travels between office locations and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. The employee would be required to lift files, electronic equipment, and bend or stand as necessary. May require occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
