POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Operations Coordinator oversees custodial staff hiring, scheduling, and training while ensuring a clean, organized, and well-maintained facility for games and events at Greater Nevada Field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead and motivate the custodial team in alignment with company values, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to cleaning protocols, and delivering the highest level of event experience
  • Schedule and manage part-time custodial staff, adjusting staffing levels based on business needs while tracking attendance and enforcing company policies, including no-call / no-show procedures
  • Perform and oversee cleaning duties, ensuring all areas of the facility meet high cleanliness standards
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing training to custodial staff on cleaning procedures and operational standards
  • Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining knowledge of facility locations and services
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring part-time employees
  • Oversee staff during offseason projects and maintenance initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate facility setup, cleaning, and breakdown for special events
  • Provide operational support for non-baseball events to ensure smooth execution
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Creative, energetic, and proactive mentality
  • Experience in facility operations, event management, or custodial supervision preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly organized, quick learner, and ability to multitask to meet competing deadlines
  • Strong time management skills
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work in fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work long hours, evenings and weekends
  • Minimal travel required
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
  • Mobility and dexterity to make clean floors, dust all room surfaces, clean toilets, mirrors, and bathtubs
  • Must have close, distance and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
