Job Purpose and Objectives:
Work involves the performance of a variety of duties associated with scheduling vehicle and equipment repairs and service for the Mechanic Shop to include writing service orders and tracking all equipment information to include warranty, service, and repairs on a fleet management software program for the life of the equipment. In addition, this position requires the ordering of parts, management of the parts room, and to maintain the parts inventory on the fleet management software program.

Position Requirements:
- Minimum level high school graduate or have an equivalent general educational development certificate (GED).
- Two years parts counter experience or service writer experience to include computerized parts and/or fleet management program preferred.
- Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification and licensing requirements relative to the position.
Certifications / Licenses:
- Possess and maintain a valid Kansas Driver's License.
