The Request Foods People Services department has an exciting opportunity to join its team to assist our team members, customers and prospective team members in providing them with excellent service. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for answering a variety of team member HR related questions as well as coordinating services as necessary.

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (hours may vary)
Pay: $20.00/hour but pay range may vary based on experience.
Location: In office Monday - Friday, Holland, MI

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to meet team members, customers and prospective team members needs performing as primary point of contact for People Services visitors and guests.
- Maintaining all departmental files including active confidential team member records, members benefits records, and general administrative files. Most of this work requires access to confidential data such as employee payroll, discipline records or medical information.
- Assisting in the processing of paperwork for member transitions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, retirement, and terminations.
- Tracking and maintaining various HR platforms using our HRIS system and Microsoft Excel.
- Assisting in the coordination of a variety of employee relation’s programs such as company service awards program and other special events.
- Completing a variety of administrative duties for the People Services Department.
- Associates Degree, or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
- 3 years of administrative experience is preferred.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills required.
- Embodies a high level of discreteness and confidentiality.
- Ability to balance and accomplish multiple tasks while working in a busy, interruptive environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
