Job Description
The Senior Accountant, reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Finance, is a hands-on position contributing to the finance, accounting, and tax related activities of the firm. The position provides opportunities for ownership of various processes and to develop a deep understanding of the investment management industry. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain financial forecast models
- Support certain processes related to the quarterly forecasts, executive-level reporting, and strategic analytics
- Oversee the fund accounting and operations of internal private investment funds
- Monitor the cash management process and maintain projections of operating cash
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of process improvements
- Prepare quarterly variance analyses and explanations
- Perform accounting research
- Assist in managing annual audits and various tax filings
- Provide additional support to the accounting and operations team
- Contribute to various special projects across the business
- Show willingness to learn new tools, including coding languages, and work on ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
What We Provide
Salary Range : $90,000 - $120,000 eligible for a discretionary bonus. Base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering such factors as skills, experience and qualifications. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
