Position Summary:
The Annual Giving Operations Manager will support the execution of multi-channel fundraising and donor stewardship strategies within our Annual Giving department. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting logistical needs, including call center operations, direct mail, online platforms, social media campaigns, and texting campaigns.
The Operations Manager will report to the Director of Annual Giving and collaborate closely with the Associate Directors of Annual Giving to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and processes. There is strong growth potential for an incumbent to evolve into a higher-level strategic role within the department by clearly demonstrating strong attention to detail, self-initiative, and success in handling responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Campaign Coordination (35%)
- Support campaign production, including drafting solicitations and coordinating assets for email, direct mail, texting, and digital outreach.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across all communication platforms and appeals.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure campaign success.
- Campaign Production (15%)
- Create graphic design assets for email campaigns, social media, and crowdfunding pages.
- Develop and edit multimedia materials, including photos, videos, and layouts for fundraising content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine and finalize creative materials.
- Utilize tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Operational and Logistical Support (15%)
- Maintain the calling calendar and campaigns.
- Monitor and track daily call center shift reports and ensure feedback is passed to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly or monthly call center reports.
- Call Center Management (15%)
- Assist with student caller recruitment, hiring, and training.
- Data and Reporting (10%)
- Compile and track campaign data to create performance reports for the team.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director of Marketing & Analytics to provide pre- and post-campaign analysis.
- Texting Campaign Management (5%)
- Develop and implement strategies for successful texting campaigns, including drafting messages, segmenting audiences, and scheduling outreach.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of texting campaigns to inform future efforts and improve donor engagement.
- Process Improvement (5%)
- Proactively propose and implement workflow optimizations to enhance efficiency.
- Stay current with industry best practices and apply relevant strategies to departmental operations.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of experience in operations, project management, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in fundraising, direct mail, or online campaigns, and texting outreach.
- Writing and editing.
- Familiarity with donor databases and marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and donor management systems.
- Experience in basic video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere or similar tools).
- A proactive and collaborative work ethic, with a focus on team success.
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting of light office items up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to operate general office equipment such as computer, printer, photocopier, scanner, phone system, etc.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to use office equipment and handle paperwork.
- Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents and computer screens.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing so others will understand.
- Hearing and speaking abilities for in-person, phone, and video conversations.
