About the University of Hawai’i Foundation :
The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation was established in 1955 to encourage private support for the University of Hawaiʻi. Today it is the central fundraising organization for the UH System and is contracted by the Board of Regents to be the sole provider of fundraising and alumni services. In addition to fundraising, the Foundation manages more than 7000 gift accounts for the benefit of the university and its students.
The UH Foundation is a private, institutionally related corporation designated as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. It is a legally separate entity from the University of Hawaiʻi, the UH Alumni Association, and all other UH affiliates. However, the UH Foundation works closely with these organizations, as well as with others in the community, exclusively for the benefit of the university.

Position Summary :
The Annual Giving Operations Manager will support the execution of multi-channel fundraising and donor stewardship strategies within our Annual Giving department. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting logistical needs, including call center operations, direct mail, online platforms, social media campaigns, and texting campaigns.
The Operations Manager will report to the Director of Annual Giving and collaborate closely with the Associate Directors of Annual Giving to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and processes. There is strong growth potential for an incumbent to evolve into a higher-level strategic role within the department by clearly demonstrating strong attention to detail, self-initiative, and success in handling responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Campaign Coordination (35%)
Support campaign production, including drafting solicitations and coordinating assets for email, direct mail, texting, and digital outreach.
Create graphic design assets for email campaigns, social media, and crowdfunding pages.
Maintain the calling calendar and campaigns.
Assist with student caller recruitment, hiring, and training.
Compile and track campaign data to create performance reports for the team.
Develop and implement strategies for successful texting campaigns, including drafting messages, segmenting audiences, and scheduling outreach.
Proactively propose and implement workflow optimizations to enhance efficiency.
