Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Project Management Internship at Reserve Construction in Dallas, TX. The Construction Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assist with the development and maintenance of submittal and RFI logs for assigned projects and review submittal data prior to transmittal to architect/engineer.
• Gather and review submittals and requests for information.
• Assist with coordination of submittal lead times with overall project schedule to assure timely material delivery.
• Generate and/or request construction mock-ups for the owner and architect’s approval when requested.
• Assist with developing and maintaining checklists, logs, and methods to guarantee an “Assurance of Quality.”
• Coordinate and review laboratory testing requirements and results.
• Coordinate material storage for security and weather protection.
• Review materials delivered to assigned job sites for conformance with approved submittals and good delivery condition.
• Review workmanship for conformance with design and manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Help to ensure dimensions and materials are correct and able to accept the next trade in line to reduce and eliminate placing good work over bad work.
• Generate, maintain, and upload the most current drawing sets to Procore and job sites when physical plan sets are present.
• Generate and coordinate project punch lists and closeouts.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Managers and Superintendents to maximize cost and schedule efficiency on assigned projects.
• Assist with weekly project executive summary reporting.
