We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Looking for a full-time or part-time team member that wants to join our team and that is able to work 3pm-11pm shifts some 7am-3pm shifts, open to knowing more than one shift. Looking for a strong desk agent that is willing to take charge at the desk, assuring the AM shift & PM shift daily work is being passed on with great commination and completing our daily desk work.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems, computers, and other office equipment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Come to work on time & complete shift.

* Always greet guests in a friendly & professional manner according to the Hotel's standards.
* Ability to courteously engage with, to attentively listen to and respect diverse groups of guests.
* Perform accurate check-ins & check-outs as well as other necessary Property Management System functions.
* Answers the telephone in a timely and professional manner.
* Adhere to Hotel procedures for two-way radio communication.
* Make reservations over the phone using proper techniques.
* Efficiently handles all payments received & the cash drawer kept balanced.
* Responsible for maintaining & recording accurate documentation regarding registration, changes, charges, customer service logs and maintenance issues.
* Anticipate & address guest's service needs.
* Ensures that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate parties and that guest privacy is maintained.
*Promote a safe working environment; adhere to all safety and security policies & procedures.
* Is aware of emergency procedures & abides to applicable state & local regulations.
* Is knowledgeable with the hotel's marketing program, specials & packages & is able to use sales techniques to maximize revenue and occupancy levels.

Skills, Educational Background, Experience and Basic Expectations:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Experience in Guest Services/Hotels or Marriott Hotels
* Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
* Able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
* A team player, yet able to work independently.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office and use of the internet.
* Must be able to work with sensitive and confidential material.

Pay: $12.50 - $1,400.00 per hour
