Support Specialist - Billing and Account Receivable Support – Home Health and Hospice (HH)

Support Specialist - Billing and Account Receivable Support – Home Health and Hospice (HH)

As a Billing Support Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing world-class support for our Home Health and Hospice solutions. You'll need:
- Strong personal skills and knowledge of the home health and hospice industry.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex customer billing and accounts receivable issues.

- Answer billing and accounts receivable-related questions in a friendly, effective, and efficient manner.
- Diagnose and resolve basic and complex customer billing and accounts receivable questions or problems via phone, email, chat, or self-service platform.
- Interact with customers to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues that may not have standard documented solutions.
- Document new issues, FAQs, and resolutions for a robust knowledge base.
- Track and document inbound support requests and ensure proper notation of customer problems and issues.
- Stay abreast of current technology in products, design changes, and new product offerings.
- Identify critical issues that may impact all clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, healthcare technology or a relevant field strongly preferred
- Home health or hospice billing and accounts receivable experience is required
- Must have strong Desktop and Internet skills
- Must have demonstrated experience solving billing and accounts receivable problems on an innovative home health & hospice software product
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the proven ability to resolve challenging issues in a timely manner
- Home Health and/or Hospice billing and accounts receivable with MatrixCare is preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- You're a quick learner, self-directed, and motivated.
- You have a strong dedication to customer satisfaction and a willingness to learn and improve.
- You're highly organized and have excellent communication skills.
- You have home health or hospice billing and accounts receivable experience (required).

- Competitive salary: $22-$31/hour (dependent on experience and location)
