Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in managing medical readiness programs and understanding military healthcare systems
- Knowledge of AR 40-501, AR 68-68, and other relevant Army regulations
- Experience with medical databases such as MEDPROS, MODS, and other readiness tracking systems
- Ability to analyze and consolidate medical data for reporting and compliance purposes
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with the COR, MTFs, and Soldiers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience working in the military or healthcare operations is preferred
- Oversee non-clinical medical operations throughout Georgia, including CNGC, Fort Stewart, and Macon
- Monitor medical readiness metrics, ensuring that service members meet Army health and fitness requirements
- Oversee compliance with DoD, ARNG, and Army medical policies, ensuring all personnel are medically deployable
- Coordinate medical assessments, screenings, and fitness evaluations for active and transitioning personnel
- Track and report medical waivers, physical health assessments (PHAs), and dental readiness data
- Liaise with healthcare providers, case managers, and medical readiness teams to address medical concerns
- Manage service members' medical profiles, disability processing, and fitness-for-duty determinations
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of medical records
- Provide training and briefings to military personnel on medical readiness policies and procedures
- Assist with deployment medical processing, ensuring soldiers meet pre-deployment health requirements
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership on medical readiness trends, gaps, and recommendations
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in healthcare administration, public health or a related field
- Experience: 3 or more years in military healthcare management, case management or medical readiness
- Experience with DoD and Army National Guard medical policies, HIPAA regulation and medical readiness tracking systems
- DHS Trusted Tester Certification required.
- Strong technical proficiency with accessibility testing tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with Section 508, WCAG, and other accessibility standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Citizenship: U.S. citizenship (copy of birth certificate or naturalization papers)
- The ability to pass a NACI (Tier 1) to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems
