As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management and operation of our restaurant. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, uphold our high standards of service and quality, and foster a positive work environment for our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Help recruit, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring they provide outstanding customer service and adhere to company policies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain optimal food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to minimize waste and ensure availability of products.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales and profit goals, including promotional activities and cost management.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, upcoming events, and operational changes.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry.
