Hair stylist job requirements / job description-
- Must have a current cosmetology license in the state of Iowa.
- Provide excellent hospitality.
- Assist with laundry and other spa cleaning duties.
- Assist at spa desk with answering phone, scheduling guests, guests, and checking guests in and out.
- Be receptive to training and growth.
- Be flexible.
- Consult with guests about their hair needs / concerns and routine to determine and recommend the services and products are most beneficial.
- This role involves using the information gained in the consultation combined with analyzing our guest’s hair to deliver all hair cutting, color, style, and conditioning services and suggest and provide services and products for a guest's hair needs / concerns.
- Maintain and organize treatment records.
- Complete services within the timeframes required with consistent.
- Maintain your work area per company guidelines along with the sterilization and sanitization requirements per the Iowa Board.
- Offer pre-booking and retail products to guests.
- Help promote yourself to hotel guests as well as local guests to fill and maintain your schedule.
