Join our team members working for our nationally recognized retina specialty practice in a fast paced, high volume ambulatory surgery center.This is anon-siteposition working in a housekeeping position in a medical office which will perform a variety of appropriate cleaning, equipment handling, trash removal, and linen handling duties in an ambulatory surgery center for ophthalmology in Sacramento, CA.
This position works part- time, 6-8 hours a day Monday through Friday.
Although you must be able to work independently, you will be working directly with physicians, patients, and all staff.
Collaboration and being a team player are essential to the success of this role.
Previous experience working in a hospital is preferred.
Responsibilities : Able to operate a variety of manual and battery operated housekeeping equipmentPerform cleaning operations throughout the facilityHandles chemicals and materials associated with cleaning (such as but not limited to soaps, solvents, waxes, stripping solutions, window and surface cleaners)Cleans a variety of surfaces (such as walls, floors, windows, ceilings, vents, carpet, tile, patient care equipment, beds, chairs, tables) in clinical and non-clinical environmentsDisposes of trash and maintains biohazard waste
