Join our team members working for our nationally recognized retina specialty practice in a fast paced, high volume ambulatory surgery center.
This is an on-site position working in a housekeeping position in a medical office which will perform a variety of appropriate cleaning, equipment handling, trash removal, and linen handling duties in an ambulatory surgery center for ophthalmology in Sacramento, CA. This position works part- time, 6-8 hours a day Monday through Friday. Although you must be able to work independently, you will be working directly with physicians, patients, and all staff. Collaboration and being a team player are essential to the success of this role. Previous experience working in a hospital is preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Able to operate a variety of manual and battery operated housekeeping equipment
- Perform cleaning operations throughout the facility
- Handles chemicals and materials associated with cleaning (such as but not limited to soaps, solvents, waxes, stripping solutions, window and surface cleaners)
- Cleans a variety of surfaces (such as walls, floors, windows, ceilings, vents, carpet, tile, patient care equipment, beds, chairs, tables) in clinical and non-clinical environments
- Disposes of trash and maintains biohazard waste
