Retro Fitness is currently seeking a driven Regional Manager to join our growing team based in the *Northeast/Midwest as this will be a traveling position.

About the role:
As the Regional Manager, you will build strong relationships through coaching and developing all assigned clubs to provide excellence in service to our members. You will ensure franchisee compliance to all Retro Fitness brand standards through audits, operations evaluations, business reviews, and training programs while utilizes and demonstrates effective management principles and practices therefore building brand trust and confidence.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and foster positive working relationship with franchisees while remaining committed to the brand and corporate objectives. Focusing daily on standard of excellence in all areas of the business.
- Each interaction in the club must have a net positive impact on their net members, personal training dollars, overall P & L, member experience, or team growth and development.
- Provide guidance to franchise personnel in all facets of health club operations including new member growth, member service, profit center revenue generation, cost controls, marketing, purchasing, and people development.
- Ensure franchisee compliance to Retro Fitness brand standards through audits, operations evaluations, business reviews, and training programs.
- Collaborates across the organization, leading the implementation and execution of proprietary programs and strategies
- Manages pro-actively by making timely and sound decisions anticipating the impact of those decisions on the Retro Fitness brand and the franchisee
- Assesses opportunities within our clubs and influences leadership to drive sustainable improvements
- Builds trust and credibility with others while influencing, making contributions, and providing support towards group consensus
- Utilizes and demonstrates effective management principles and practices creating an environment where franchisee gym team members are valued and respected.
- Work with clubs to build best in class onboarding and development
- Trains staff on processes, systems, marketing initiatives and IT programs
- Rolls out new policies and procedures to management and ensure they are properly implemented
- Support the clubs in the operations and fitness certification processes
- Improves quality by evaluating and re-designing processes, implementing change, and ensuring standards are met
Our ideal candidate:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor s Degree preferred or higher in Business Management, or appropriate equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
- 5- years’ experience supporting a franchise organization in the field
- Multi-Unit Operational experience (preferably in childcare, food/beverage, retail and/or Franchise system)
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
