Position OverviewThe Community Outreach Coordinator at Return Home is responsible for executing outreach initiatives to engage channel partners, community organizations, media contacts, influencers, and other stakeholders. This role focuses on following through on assigned tasks, maintaining relationships, supporting events, and ensuring smooth execution of outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects efficiently. The position is in person at our Auburn WA facility.
To start, this position will be part time, with the long term goal of moving to full time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Partner Management
- Maintain and support relationships with both legacy and large-scale channel partnerships by coordinating communication, follow-ups, and resource distribution.
- Ensure partners receive necessary materials, training, and support to effectively offer Return Home’s services.
- Track and document partner engagement, reporting updates as needed.
- Assist with coordinating and scheduling meetings, training sessions, and check-ins for funeral home partners.
2. Community Partner & Public Outreach
- Conduct outreach to community partners as directed.
- Distribute marketing materials and resources to partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a structured follow-up process to ensure ongoing engagement and relationship management.
3. Community Events & Outreach
- Assist in coordinating and executing occasional community events, including logistics, scheduling, and material preparation.
- Support speaking engagements by handling setup, materials, and coordination.
- Track attendance and engagement at events.
Qualifications
- Experience in community outreach, event coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently while following outlined plans and directives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
