ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Oversee the daily setup, operation, and breakdown of all concession stands and portable food/beverage locations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of food and beverage areas.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise seasonal concessions staff and stand managers.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
- Coach team members to maintain high levels of performance, customer service, and compliance.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure proper inventory control and product rotation.
- Assist in ordering food, beverages, and supplies, maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Ensure efficient service, high food quality, and guest satisfaction throughout the ballpark.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints in a prompt, courteous manner.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and reconciling end-of-day sales reports.
- Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–3 years of experience in food & beverage or concessions management (sports/event industry preferred).
- Strong leadership and staff development skills.
- ServSafe Manager certification required or the ability to obtain.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions to include heat, cold and rain.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or lift weight greater than 50 lbs.
- Required to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.
