Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Companions to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their overall well-being. If you are a caring and reliable individual with a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients follow their care plans.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the care coordinator or healthcare professional.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients in their homes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting clients with mobility.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
